The bare trees look so beautiful with all the ice on their branches.
The streets do too, except when sliding instead of stopping...
I love this time of year. We play games and have challenges on the Wii.
Drink hot chocolate with {sugar free} candy canes to stir it with.
Don't forget the mini-marshmallows!
Even though the rest of the week is going to be raining and warmer,
today is good, and just knowing that there is a possibility of more,
that is what makes this time of year my favorite.
And the planning of the February Florida vacation!

We enjoyed the pretty, icy day too. When Josh went down for his nap, the big kids went "frozen grass sledding" in the back yard. I guess it was pretty fun. I've never done it.
Hot chocolate was a part of our day too!
One week from today is Christmas! Can you believe it?
